Welcome to YP Connect, a young professionals group of the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce. We are looking for young professionals (ages 21-40) with diverse professional backgrounds who want to meet other career-minded individuals. Mission

YP Connect provides young, emerging leaders an outlet to promote their business, develop their business skills, build confidence, and network with fellow peers to help strengthen their community.

Goals

• Provide entertaining social and business networking opportunities for young professionals
• Promote educational opportunities for young professionals to develop within their own business organization or for personal self-development
• Active volunteerism within the MWCOC communities

Origins

In the fall of 2009, Jamie Tomc of Enterprise Bank, along with fellow peers in the MWCOC recognized the need to create a comfortable environment where young professionals could build relationships and develop professionally as future leaders in our community. After a number of start-up meetings, the YP Connect group organically formed and welcomed young professionals to its first event in March of 2010. Past events included an after-hours networking event at Not Your Average Joe’s in Acton and Poolside Networking at Quail Ridge Country Club.
