below. Your opinions and ideas are important and needed. Please call

Ambassadors: Act as hosts
for Chamber meetings and events, welcome new members to the Chamber,
and provide valuable input to the Board of Directors and Chamber staff
through informal surveys of membership interests and needs.

Annual Awards Dinner: Plan
the Chamber's Annual Awards Dinner, solicit nominations for award recipients,
promote silent auction participation, and oversee event details such
as site selection, entertainment, menu, theme and more.

Golf Outing: You don't need
a low handicap to organize this annual golf classic -- just a desire
to pitch in and promote this event. Partial proceeds help fund the Chamber's
college scholarship program.

Legislative/Public Affairs:
Analyze emerging issues to determine their impact on business, monitor
important state and national legislative and regulatory proposals, review
local government activities, maintain open exchanges with decision makers
in all levels of government, and plan appropriate membership notifications
and responses.

Marketing:
Define the Chamber’s Brand Positioning, evaluating marketing materials
and make recommendations that enhance the Chamber’s ability to educate
and inform Chamber members and the community.

Membership:
Help promote the
programs, services and activities of the Chamber to increase
participation among current members and to attract new members, thereby
making the Chamber a stronger organization.

Realty Executives of Eastern MA
Business Development and Referral
Group: Representatives from non-competing
businesses meet to share referrals and to discuss issues of interest
shared by members of this group.

Road Race: Plan and orchestrate
the Annual Sarah Lynn Hughes Memorial 5K Run/Walk and arrange sponsorships,
prizes, advertising, volunteer worker activities, and race participant
registration efforts.

School Business Partnership:
Work with school officials to plan and implement the very successful
Job Shadow Week each year, help publish a resource registry, and be
involved in projects that create awareness of how school learning applies
in the workplace.
